It makes me resistant to like experiment with certain kinds of things. Like in my case, I like I sometimes I'll turn off a certain screen in a mode and like, you know, uh so what's called a mode? but it's still driving me fucking crazy. subscribe to Wired magazine and I was like, oh this is cool. It's I don't get up quite to the point of total rage, but it really does drive me crazy when it says that delete and report, and I'm like, yeah, I know this is not connected anything.

I didn't even know I had Snapchat installed until I started getting notifications from Snapchat only in Do Not Disturb. I don't know, 1045, something like that. And occ occasionally I'll add another one. Or that I need to like click this to sign in, do my two FA, my you know, two FA for um Synology or whatever. And what you can do is if you're adding an app, so like you go to s Spotlight and I'm going to go to giraffes. Is that a Siri suggestion? Uh okay, so go go to your home screen right now. There's almost always cool stuff that you can do. Getting wet. now. Took a lot of home movies. We I get it, you go to the gym, because the the very first note you have pinned, it says gym locker, where it has the number eight as the preview and It's like remembering your parking.

So chill. Uh because I said notify anyway. Ha ha ha ha, that's funny, Alex. Or uh app icon for Reddit. Lo look it, look it, look it. Yeah, keynote is awesome and it kind of made me sad uh like the past couple of years. I just it's i i it it's like w where can I replace grief? m Mac software? Asking people uh to send you things and then you say there's a deadline, but you're worried about the patrons, so you've reopened it. Like there's just a lot of unstated It's a very funny bit in TV shows, but like if anybody actually did like turn around and just smile broadly at you. It's it's like it's like a dog and um. No, but he but I think it's it's a conceptual idea which is I mean, I don't think it's a good practical idea. Oh my god. f a month ago. I I thought See I thought you were Strasdale, are you okay? hyperfixation around how people set up their home screens and use their phones is actually a an exercise in trying to figure out uh n new. Mm-mm, we don't know. you know, soaking in, you know, the Kennedy assassination. And like you're seeing this, you can still see you can see that Jack Ruby is in motion. And um but uh but I was just saying like it's the you know, whether there's that, there's the Sapruder film, there's just just with the Kennedy assassination, there's so many things where like if you saw a still Like why in your case, or I that's the way I would put it. doesn't tell you the whole story. Okay. And he unplugged that and then brought up the regular one. screen. know that you can just get get rid of that.

smart person apps. Like it is it the the way that this is placed, if one password is a as important as it is, so the right corner of the dock, uh having Spotify uh just w it makes it look i like his home screen is a like a melted lesbian flag because it's all I am I am making an assumption because I am b I I'm making an assumption because I'm right. You you kind of gotta see it in all of its glory. But I uh there's some shenanigans going on where like I probably noticed that. You're talking about that show that with a terrible recording quality? I uh stole stole my IP, just like a true anon keeps stealing my Easter talk about my Easter eggs. Two focus modes. But I think people first of all, they're just not gonna discover that clicking around.

And by garbage ads, I mean those kinds of like ads with a little arrow that say ad next to them that are for some kind of like, you know, instant borscht or whatever or crypto. out of uh we should do a whole episode sometime just about protect your neck episode. Because they're big and red and usually unnecessary. This isn't Tadaoist's faults, but I'm not a fan of uh iOS's badges. Flag. I've been uh uh uh utilizing do not disturb a a lot, and it has made me appreciate focus notes even more. There there's always like one thing that slips through and I'm like, wait, is it not on and this new bo uh uh uh I am on the beta, so okay, fine. So I I don't know. The apps that can get through are DoorDash, Flighty, Grubhub, Instacart, Reminders, and Synology Secure Sign In.

was an actual haptic moving per it it m your phone would vibrate. just the only home screen I I have. Can't fathom it. of your of your iPhone because you know second you'll always know where it is but importantly it also helps you remember that's where the lens of the camera is and that used to be meaningful Before people got used to using iPhone cameras, it was actually really handy to know that, hey, my camera button is always in the upper right. Dachow. No, but but that's what I was like, is that is this a i is it which number his or like what number his locker is or is it uh like Um and once again YouTube, why is no one talking about this? And you've got wallet right there. Uh and you know, i if you've got the yellow.

Having it in a specific place where by muscle memory you still need to be able to reach it as if it was on your home screen. m using these apps, I th think as much as one would S I why why would you have one password in the corner? Oh my god. The yeah, yeah. all three of which have uh like distinctly orange icons and it gets lost in the fray. are the best apps on your your home screen. Um, and he uses Spotify. Like in that case, were you like like the way Syracuse would work stuff into the contacts for or the screenshots for his arch technical things? that's gonna be like a s uh uh ad-free streaming thing.

That's not it. Is like, hey, I have this screen on my phone that could be my ninth screen or whatever, but like that's the screen I want to see when I'm in work mode. Uh I hide one of my screens and I forget why I did it. I also I hate that Apple News has ads. log in to my I I mean I'm sure that there is a way, uh but I don't know. Title. sketch I send you unprompted, but otherwise that sounds like a very useful uh but do you uh and then drag it from Spotlight on to the host. Since we lost force touch, oh god, R. And I I love this stuff. Like I'm very interested. So Henry, it's 89 degrees. Would trip me up is if you have icons in a specific place, you have that muscle memory, but does Henry have muscle memory for both focus modes?
